Programs

Bonny Doon School offers a number of special programs during the school day as well as after school. Uke concert Although Bonny Doon School students tend to be high achievers academically, we are very lucky to be able to provide them a well-rounded and one that is not focused solely on testing outcomes. The variety of programs we offer meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of a wide range of learners and provide all students with options that will peak their interest and meet their needs.

 

 

During the Day

All of our students participate in art, music, and physical education.  Students in kindergarten through third grade work in the Life Lab garden.  Qualifying students have access to the resource specialist program, English Language Development (ELD), and the Title I academic intervention program.  All students also have access to technology through our library/media center, and classes are equipped with modern, up-to-date technology tools for teacher use and to enhance student learning. We have a Conflict Resolution program where upper grade students are trained in peaceful ways to help resolve minor conflicts on the playground at recess.

Before and After School

For after school, Bonny Doon School offers students a fee-based After School Program (ASP) as well as several enrichment classes including band, art, and both beginning and intermediate Spanish.  Our bus transportation program brings students to and from school.
