The First Day Packets have been published for the 2025-26 school year. These have to be completed for every student annually. The deadline is August 1, 2025. Your child can not attend school without these forms being completed. Please go to bonny.schoolwise.com and follow the prompts.

Responding to Changes in Federal Education Policy

A number of questions and concerns have arisen following reported plans to dismantle the U.S. Department of Education (DOE), as well as a recent “Dear Colleague” letter released by the DOE. As leaders from across Santa Cruz County’s TK-12 school community, we share your concerns and are closely monitoring these developments and any potential impacts on services provided to Santa Cruz
County students.

Citizen's Bond Oversight Committee Information & Application

BDUESD's Measure L earned significant community support, with 67.41% of Bonny Doon's voters approving the measure. The Bonny Doon Union Elementary School District Board of Trustees is establishing a Citizen's Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) to review expenditures from construction activity associated with its bond measures.

In the Spring of 2024, Bonny Doon Union Elementary School District hired experts from Stacked, an architectural and engineering firm, to create a new multi-year Facilities Master Plan (FMP). They undertook an analysis of the status of the current school buildings, campus and community facilities and through multiple meetings gathered input and ideas from key stakeholders: staff, teachers, parents and community leaders.
