Good news, the 2021-2022 School Year Calendar has been approved. Parents with students at multiple public schools within the county will be pleased to know that Superintendents liaised in an attempt to align vacation dates across schools as best possible. Parent Sentiment Survey - Invitation to Participate
As you all know, last fall, we sent out a parent survey to assess how parents felt about sending their students back to campus for classes. A lot has changed since that initial survey took place. COVID-19 Health Conditions improved for a while then worsened. A Stay-At-Home order was issued by the Governor and has only recently been lifted. Santa Cruz County still remains in the Purple Tier of Widespread Risk.
For this reason, we are conducting a second survey to assess current parent/guardian sentiment around in-person learning. We want to know whether you feel ready to send your child back to school for classes. Knowing your thoughts on this topic is extremely important for helping us plan for when health conditions improve and we are able to expand in-person services. Please complete this parent survey.
